Why I cut back from posting my own articles
Because eversince July of 2008 the spiritual struggle intensified. I never had it this bad in my protestant years. It is as if something out there wants me to stop for I am being attacked on all sides. And so I've been trying to focus more on my prayer and fasting life. Eventually I will post more of my own thoughts, but first my personal prayer and fasting life needs to improve. And so most of my posts will continue to be other peoples stuff. I will post my own thoughts every now and then, but this is the reason why I cut back. Spiritual Warfare is real, and I need more strength!
Pray for me!

I will be praying for you and certainly do what you need to do but don't forget that one of the quickest ways to grow spiritually is to love and serve others. Your posts help us!
God be with you,
Dan
The same thing happened to me. I cannot describe the hardships and trauma my family experienced after we became Orthodox. Its almost as if sinister powers who once ignored me have now turned their full attention in my direction. Perhaps rather, in our direction-yours and mine. We aren't alone. There are other new Orthodox who have experienced the same. I stay sane by laughing as much as possible, playing with my children, and keeping only 2 or 3 cherished spiritual books at my side.
- Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
- Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
- I tell thee, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
Hang in there. No need to apologize. I will keep you in prayer.

This guy seems to have gone through quite similar times when he became Orthodox.
I would like to thank you all for your prayers.
