Thanks for the video. Story of Christianity is my favorite Hart book, too. I really loved the blurb on Dostoevsky and Solovyov.
I read Beauty of the Infinite twice. I appreciate most of it but Hart can sometimes be unintelligible. When he makes a most beautiful, most sublime point (cf any of his wonderful meditations on St Gregory Nyssa), I often wonder if I know what he's actually talking about! My only other fault with Hart is that he appears too sympathetic to St Augustine's doctrine of Absolute Divine Simplicity. He reworks it, too be sure, but I'm not convinced.
Still, most of the book is wonderful and I love his section on eschatology.
I'm just getting into Hart, I only found out about him a few months ago. David love's him and so I plan on buying a number of his books. Thanks for letting me know about your thoughts in regards to "Story of Christianity".
